Museum Sessions - Where art and experience meet

The museum sessions were more than just concerts.
They were a meeting place for artists and audiences, a place where music, art and atmosphere merged in a unique setting.
From my studio and museum above my tattoo shop The Fisher King, I organised these intimate living room concerts, where artists performed in a space full of art and history.
The sessions brought together a mix of established names and emerging talent and grew into a series that both musicians and visitors look back on with fondness.

Each evening had its own character, but one element remained the same: for each session I designed a zoetrope slipmat, which was not only a visual tribute to the artist, but also formed the basis for the poster of the event.
To make this connection tangible, each artist received a zoetrope slipmat as a souvenir.
In addition, two slipmats were raffled among the audience at each session – each admission ticket gave a chance to win one. In this way, the
museum sessions remained not only a live experience, but also a visual and physical memory.

What once started as a creative experiment grew into a special project in which music and optical art strengthened each other. The museum sessions remain for me one of the most special moments in my creative journey—a place where music and image found each other in a timeless interplay.
