A new chapter for The Fisher King begins!

A new chapter for The Fisher King begins!
After 9 years, it was time to turn a page. These past 9 years have been quite eventful. Alongside full-time tattooing, we, with a top team and many volunteers, have organized over 50 events. Monthly museum sessions where we hosted the cream of the crop of Belgian music and comedy in our 'salon,' our annual Halloween murder mysteries with a cast of 20 actors transforming our place into a dream world, exhibitions of innovative artists, and the beautiful crafts and curiosities museum 't Krekelhof where our tattoo studio was located, and where I served as curator for the Vandamme family. And then came Corona, throwing a spanner in the works. It was a curse, but also a blessing. A halt to the rollercoaster and time for reflection. In my case, I realized that my entire life revolved around this rollercoaster, at the expense of my social life and health. I did it with heart and soul, but it's time to take it easy and refocus on the two passions I love most: tattooing in peace and creating optical illusions. We've been working on this behind the scenes for a while, and today it finally happened. Alongside Nina, I welcome you to our new private studio. We're located 10 minutes from the E40 Veurne exit, in an idyllic location in the Westhoek. Visits are by appointment only. If you come by train, we'll gladly pick you up and take you back to the Koksijde station. Lastly, I want to thank everyone who has supported me and contributed in any way to the Krekelhof experience. There are too many of you to name, but you know who you are. Thanks to the Vandamme family for the years of collaboration. I wish you all the best with the continuation of the museum. Thanks to my children and my parents for your unconditional support. Thank you Pieter and Hanne, for all your support, in music and friendship. Jeroen, Ruben, Silke, Gypy, Eva, Joke, Fien, thank you for walking a part of that path with me, you have moved mountains. But most of all, thanks to my two companions, Jeantje and Nina, without you, it would never have been possible. Here's to a new beginning!
